Ahead of the Olympics held in London in 2012, the famous Olympic torch made its way around the country in a relay. Watch what happened when the London Olympic torch visited the coast of Dover.
The torch came via sailing ship and then via lifeboat onto the Prince of Wales Pier in Dover and then was carried by relay through the High Street.
You can also see footage of the Olympic torch running through London Road Sholden, the other side of Deal and a 20 minute drive away from Dover town centre.
At Dover’s celebration there was a large stage with live music.
